The Harwich Republican Town Committee is pleased to announce Claire Hemeon as the recipient of the 2025 scholarship award. Claire will be graduating from Monomoy Regional High School with plans to  attend the University of Connecticut. Claire excelled in her  academic studies, was on the Honor  roll, and the National Honor Society.  Her volunteer activities were many and included President of Best Buddies and work with older citizens and  those with impaired vision. Each year the HRTC awards a Scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating senior who resides in Harwich regardless of political affiliation.
