HRTC Scholarship Announcement

The Harwich Republican Town Committee (HRTC) is pleased to announce that Kyle Gabri is the winner of the 2020 Scholarship, which is the first one offered by the HRTC. Kyle a senior at Monomoy Regional High School will be attending Providence College. Peter Hughes, Chairman of the HRTC, recently presented Kyle with a $1,000 dollar check.

The two runners up are Sean Gould and Julianna Smith, who each received a check for $100. Sean a senior at Monomoy Regional High School will be attending Curry College. A senior at Nauset Regional High School, Julianna has plans to attend Merrimack College.

The students each completed an application and submitted an essay ” What democracy means to you and why is it important?
